Does anyone have a magneto for this engine? The magneto is unavailable through parts stores. I am not going to put a lot of money into this motor so is there anybody getting rid of one of these?<br />383A Tecumseh 9065 Magneto part# 610958
Does this motor have any value as an antique?<br /><br />The motor is in good condition and I have the owners manual and a poster that came with it.<br /><br />The manual says to use sae 40 automotive oil. Are the new outboard oils useable in it?
I have a sears 15 hp with a tecumseh engine. Model#217-586331, serial#9a 347806 The motor number is #383A Tecumseh 9065 There is a date of 1/11/79 written in pencil on the magneto. I am thinking it is an Eska from what I have found on the Internet. Does anyone know what year it was made?
