I bought a merc 1150 thunderbolt in June and I do not know what year it is. I have been searching on the net for two weeks and no luck. Every time I enter my SN in a search engine, it comes up as an invalid SN.<br />The SN is: 7038571 (I have checked this number a few times). Help.

I have searched for two weeks on-line to find out a year for the motor I bought in June. It is a merc 1150 thunderbolt with a SN: 7038571.<br />Every time I have searched this number it comes up as invalid. I hace checked the plate a number of times to make sure that it is correct. Help.
