I have a 1987 Suzuki dt 140. There seems to be a spot on the throttle around 1200 to 1700 rpms. It is hard to keep it at that rpm. The fuel pump, thermostat, and fuel filter have been replaced. Could this be a carb adjustment? And how do I go about adj. the carbs? [4 of them]
I was in the water and had the engine at around 2000 rpms, just sitting there. The engine would surge a little and then drop a little. Could this be the fuel pump or the diaphram? The bulb was firm when I started, but became soft after a while, Is the bulb supposed to be hard all the time...
My friend has a Simrad EQ 42 [I think that's right] and when ever he goes like over 10-15 mph, the screen freezes. He says it's the way the machine is, I disagree. Any thoughts? Oh, once the speed drops, the screen starts working again.

I seem to have a problem with the hydrafoil. I get up on plane quicker, but if I hit a wave, sometimes I lose plane and power, I then have to throttle up again. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have an old [20 years] Power winch that someone gave me. It has no number but it has a 2000lb single line and 3500 lb double line pull. I tried using it on my 18 foot center console and the last 5 feet it was really straining. Will the years do this?
