    Thanks thats what I think also, it would be easy to pump all the lube in the reservoir out and refill, haven't ran the boat since my blunder but I don't think I'm going to worry about it?

    No Mr. Tpenfield, I keep it at almost all the way up, according to the trim guage? on the dash, for transporting purposes, ground clearance, and it does not leak down at all.

    I checked the level of trim fluid while completely lowered and level was aprox 3/4" below the top of the neck where the cap screws on and is perfectly clear, no sign of water contamination, don't think I'm gonna worry too much about it anymore, doesn't make any unusual noise, just a lot slower...
