Hi all<br /><br />How important is the gas tank height relative to the OB motor. I plan to install a gas tank underneath the floor in the nose and are n bit worried that it might sit to low relative to the motor. I have a 1982 Mariner 90 6 cylinder in-line. Please can anybody help me with advice.
Hi folks<br /><br />Do I need to put glass (mat) on the bottom of the floor before I screw it down on the runners or is it not necessary?, I plan to fiberglass the top once it is in place. What about the runners underneath the floor, can I just paint it with resin or do I have to encapsulate it...

Can I replace my rectifier on my Mariner 90 6-cylinder model 1981 with a commercial bridge rectifier which is a much cheaper solution and if so will a 10Amp bridge rectifier do. There is no regulator involved and the output go straight to the battery.
Can anyone please help me with a wiring diagram for Mariner 90 6-cylinder inline 1981 model. I am particular interested in the battery charging system (Stator - Rectifier - regulator - battery).
