Hello all I just finished converting a 9.5 Evenrude to short shaft (thanks again for iwombat) and just boat tested it.
1971 sears 12 foot alum. It only did 6.2 mph GPS at WOT.
The weight total (boat motor trolling battery and two men) was 550lbs. slight above the rated 488 total payload...
I am looking to upgrade Hp on my old Aluminum jon boat
and will be looking at a Gamefisher 15 hp. The asking price is $475.00 is this a good price. Are there parts available for this brand. I am on a budget and am trying to avoid making costly mistakes. Any info would be appreciated.
