I purchased a 1984 70 hp Evinrude and the single lever controls have a little knob on the back/stren end of the control box that I can turn left or right about 6 rotations without noticing anything happening? Also, there is a little button/switch on the face of the control box that I don't know...
The only time my boat planes is when I'm going slow or fast any speed in between and the bow is up and stern is plowing through the water. Any ideas as to what is wrong please help - boat and trailer newbie!
I repacked my bearings and purchaded new dust covers. they didn't have any on the trailer when I bought it. However, they keep popping off within a 1/2 of driving out of my driveway. Does anyone know why this would happen?
