    Saved by the cracked oil filter! I found good oil in the lines, but couldn't explain why no pressure was building... Turns out the spraying sound was water.. my guess is that he primed it, wouldn't run, let it sit, froze and cracked filter... Another $12 ....

    Title says it all. I bought a boat with 88hr and had been sitting for a bit. I drained gas tank, which had way too much water in it, and put 1/2gallon of xd100 in fill port on boat.     1999 Johnson 60hp: Complete carburetor rebuild

    I recently found a loose venturi in one of my carbs..the other two were caked up with some nasty crystal-like matter. I just acquired the boat, it has been sitting, but low hours. The dealer said I need 3 new carbs. Is it true you cannot purchase the flow/atomizing components for OMB carbs?
