    Loctite goes like that outside the joint when its old and dry . Depends on how much /good the other crank is . That gash is a stress riser ( like how you cut glass ) ........I wouldnt use it tho , if it lets go it will most likely take a good portion of the rest of the motor with it . Next time...

    Another possible contributing factor is this buoyant polyprop rope ....and untidy rope management , I mean I have seen peeps doing stuff that just about guarantees a wrapped prop.

    Yep ,recently in Bluff Harbour ,2 drowned ,2 survivors ( the ones wearing life jackets ). Had the boat anchored to rear cleat ,anchor stuck and wave comes over transom and down she goes .

    I think that sticking to a plan is best otherwise you could be chasing your tail . If that were me I would satisfy myself that the rings on your wisco pistons were not stuck , wether you take the pistons out or just spy thru the ports , and then fit the correct heads . The symptoms you describe...
