I have a 90 mariner inline 6 that when i turn key over motor slowly turns. (used to turn head fast)
almost like the battery is low on juice. so bought a new battery and same thing happens.
wondering where to start trouble shooting.
I think the motor is around 1987.

Is it possible that the white cream on my plugs could be condensation in the block> since motor sat all winter in garage? Just ran motor in driveway with muffs on. Do I need to take it out on the water and give it a good run?

Hi I have a 90 mariner outboard checked my plugs and all were oily and damp> (not that bad and motor ran well) I have since change all plugs. ran motor for 10 min. pulled bottom plug and there was a white paste kind of creamy. Motor still runs good.
