    01 25 hp merc runs then dies

    have to pump up fuel with primer bulb, then runs fine for a while then dies and have to pump bulb again. have done fuel pump and carb rebuild, checked float level. kit did not include needle valve. replaced primer bulb hose and new gas tank. thinking possible sticking needle valve? Where is...

    2001 25 mercury stalling

    25 horse outboard motor will run fine in idle, low and high speeds for a few minutes after pumping primer bulb, then will die and won't start till I pump primer bulb again, then starts right up, runs fine again for a while and stalls again. Is this a fuel pump or carb problem? Thanks.
