    Shift rod adjustment

    Need measurement for the shift rod adjustment on a e60elcre. Is it measured from the lu case to the end of the rod or to the center of the hole.

    Evinrude lower engine cover

    Mounting hole threads in lower engine cover for the front port support bolt has striped out and needs repaired.     Evinrude no spark

    Just purchased a 1984 evinrude model# e60elcre with no spark on either plug. What should I check first to find the problem. Motor hasn't been used in a couple years but has good compression, 128 and 126 . Its in good condition and I'm hoping I can bring it back to life. Thanks
