I'm installing a water pump kit on a 1977 Johnson 140hp.
My question is about the gasket that goes in between the gearcase and the stainless steel plate (that the impeller sits on). The water pump kit I bought doesn't have this...
Could a 1989-91 evinrude 115hp v4 flatback match a 1989 evinrude 88hp lower unit?, Or would the ignition wiring be the same?, carbs too small for something like this? thanks in advanced..
