Have a 454 mag, changed wires and plugs and when I put it in the water for the first time this year everything seemed fine until I put a load on it. Engine will max out at about 2000 rpm, ran great last year.
Checked wire order a couple times, timing is ok.
Any ideas, thanks for the help?
1991 Rinker 236 Sport Cuddy, 454 mag, bravo one, 3 blade 21 deg prop, and no trim tabs. Boat is aft heavy when more then two people are in the boat and doesn't want to get on plane. I am 95% sure I am going to put trim tabs on the boat but is that going to solve my problem? There is not a lot...
