I'm pulling my old boat out of a deep sleep and need to get the old 2 stroke running again. When I put her away she was running just fine but it's been 3 years and I need to replace the fuel. I'm just wondering if a certain fuel and oil mix will burn a little bit better than others. Also...
The prop on my 20hp Mercury Outboard has begun slipping. It works fine while scooting around close to the dock in no-wake zones but once you try to rev the engine and take off it feels like the prop is slipping and won't push the boat forward while the engine revs high.
Any ideas as to why...
