1976 Evinrude 135 - TILT & TRIM limiter plug/switch halfway up hydraulic cylinder???
Requesting any assistance I can find on a fix that went terribly wrong today...
On one of the hydraulic cylinders for the T&T is a plastic plug/limiter switch(???) that screws into one of the hydraulic...
I've gone through the all the posts I can find and still can't seem to come up with what type of plug I should be using on my '76 Evinrude 135hp?
I've tried the NGK ones with the resistors and they foul out.

Still working on a 1976 Baha boat that I have with a 135 Evinrude on it (came with boat). have replaced all the electical and it runs great with a fresh set of the "expesive" plugs in it for about a day... let it sit for a few days and come back and one or two of the plugs is fouled...
I've just replaced about all the electrical stuff on a 1976 Evinrude 135hp.
1 coil
1 power pack
set of plugs
timer plate
Each time I replaced one of these items the motor would run great for about 2 runs... then would need something else...
Now after all the repairs, the engine has spark on...
OK, well I use to have a trim/seal issue, but I can't even get to the tilt/trim seal issue since I'm now having so many electrical issues that won't even let me get the motor running....
