    Voltmeter Question

    I have a 1987 Bayliner with a 1990 Force 150 outboard. Recently I noticed when I first start the motor, my voltmeter would read between 13.5 to 14 volts, then within 30 seconds it would rise to 16+ volts. Could this be a ground problem?
