Just replaced the seals on the tilt/trim pistons and need to know how to replace fluid. How much, proper bleeding, etc. I've heard two things - either fill from the top reservoir screw (on solenoid and bleed through bottom 3/8 fittings 5 or 6 times) or with the pistons in the up position...
I have replaced the upper seals on the tilt pistons and need to know the correct way to replace the hydrolic fluid in - correct amount and bleeding the air? A friend of mine seemed to think you add the fluid from the bottom and bleed from the top - sounds logical to me. Any ideas. Thanks.

The power trim/tilt unit will no longer go up or down. It just stopped working halfway up with a little spit and sputter. Had to undo the relief screw at the bottom to let the engine down all the way. I know this is pretty vague but anybody have any idea how to start troubleshooting...
