    Where on the engine would be the best place to hook a vacuum gauge to trouble shot ignition problems. I've got the fuel pump covered but need some help for the ignition part. Thanks in advance.

    Great board. My 50 horse is acting up. When starting cold it idles with the fast idle ok then all at once the rpms go way up and I have to pull back the fast idle. It runs fine full out but when you cut back to idle it dies. It also has a spitting miss to it, in idle, at times and usually dies...
