    Evinrude thread type?

    What thread type is generally used on Evinrude outboards. I believe it is UNC but will one of you knowledgeable folks please confirm or otherwise. (My engine is a 60HP 1985 VRO Twin Cylinder.

    Backlash at prop

    How much backlash (prop rotation)should I get at the prop, in either forward or reverse gear, when I turn the prop by hand? 1987 VRO 60HP Evinrude.

    Evinrude 60 stuck powerhead

    I've a VRO 60HP 1987 twin cyl. I've removed 5 of the 8 bolts and the nut from the stud, holding the power head to the lower casing. The other 3 bolts had rusted heads so I had to drill them off.
