I replaced my leaking oil pump. ('94 60 HP 3 cyl). Should have gotten the oil lines at the same time as the pump, but of course hindsight is 20/20.
I used standard HW store vinyl chemical resistant tubing in a pinch since I didn't want to reuse the old ones.
Will that work for a short period...

After some investigation to my oil leak. I think it's leaking past the zip ties on the oil pump inlet and outlet. I've cinched them at tight as I can because I used to be able to spin them around a bit, but I still see a bit of oil on the other side of the ties though the clear...
'94 60Hp, chasing a overheat issue at low RPM.
Poppet valve looked ok (is there a proper alignment for the little groove in the plastic poppet? Never seen any indication on that)
Tested the thermostat. It's a 120, but dropped off the thread at ~130. Opened up full at ~140.
Before I go ahead...
I've spent a few days reading many of the posts and have found great info. I'd like to share my current problems and hope someone has ideas. Seem to be common issues on Merc's.
