I just got burned real good. I bought a Mercury 9.9 Longshaft 2 Stroke Outboard from a guy in PA. He said it was an easy conversion to put a tiller handle on it. Of course I believed him. He told me any Merc dealor would convert it from a cable drive to a tiller drive for around $150.00...
