Just garaged my boat for the winter. Do I need to do anything to the 1989 30HP Johnson outboard I have on the boat? All I've done is disconnect the fuel lines! HELP! :confused:
bought an '85 Johnson 30 HP, used it once then parked the boat in the garage. Can I just leave it like this until next spring or is there a process I need to carry out prior to storage?<br /><br />thanks in advance!
New controls don't entirely fit under the "lip" along side of my 1975 13' fiberglass ski boat. Need to construct a box to hold it in place and give me something to screw into. Any ideas? How can I secure this box to the boat? Most of the mechanism fits under the lip but the throttle itself...
Now that I have your attention! Quick question. Thinking of back to back seats but they sit too high. Can I cut the 12"high base down? I don't have the seats so I don't know how they secure to boat. I don't know if they typically are secured through seperate brackets or through the base...
Bought a boat cheap, structurally sound, but has only a steering wheel, no cables, motor etc. My question is this: How difficult is it to "rig up" the steering once I get the motor? Any special tools needed? How much $$ am I saving doing it myself? All responses appreciated.
