My motor has a fuel leak at the electric primer solenoid. when I push the key in I can see fuel see fuel squirt out from around the red manual valve. My shop manual shows that there's an o-ring on the manual valve. Not sure if I need to take...
The tachometer on my boat has started to read incorrectly. Sometimes it reads higher than what the motor is turning, like at idle. Is there a way to determine if its the tach or the rectifier?<br />Motor starts and runs fine, top speed is 41MPH which it has been since new.<br />Phil
Just purchased a used 15 ft Smokercraft with 60 hp Johnson. How should the motor be positioned while towing? Motor doesn't have TNT so I can either put it all the way up or all the way down. Looks like most of the weight is over the transom when in the up position.
