    prime before painting skeg?

    Hello, I purchased the Yamaha spray paint for my 2005 225 motor. The previous owner drug the motor through sand, which took the paint off the skeg, down to the metal. Should I prime the skeg before repainting with the color? If so, what primer do you recommend? Thanks, Mark Melbourne FL

    parallel or float?

    I have twin 2005 Yami 225s, and I'm considering a battery isolator, which has two inputs. My motors' alternators have two outputs each. Should I parallel the outputs, or let one float? Thanks, Mark Melbourne FL
