Update with my charging issue. I had a bad rectifier. I replaced the (bad) marine style rectifier with a $5 radio shack full wave bridge rectifier(25amp 50volt). Since my stator only puts out 6amps & the marine rectifier is rated at 6-10amp, I fused the output at 7.5amp. It passed the driveway...
