I picked up a 1988 125hp force lower leg to fit on my 1979 chrysler 140hp...noticed water pump housing is blocked by aluminum support webbing and was wondering if adapter from pick up tube to water pump would be different from stock Force part or if anyone knows what i have to do to make it work...
I believe its the forward gear and pinion gear that are done ... anyhoo its difficult and expensive to find parts and even more so if your in Canada ... so trying to find replacement leg rather than repair ... anyone any ideas and can anyone tell me if i can use another chrysler leg of different...
What should the compression be on my 78 150hp ... I get 120psi across all 6... is this good or bad? I also have a 81 merc 90 that gets 150psi across and a 78 chrysler charger that gets 150 across all 4. I am thinking that 150 is good and 120 is low???
