Most of the fellas around here that have bass boats say optimum tail is top of good on the outboard. They all have newer boats with 250s and 300s so that’s apples n oranges compared to my old nitro but concept should still be the same. I need try some other props I guess.
Does it matter? Is my boat running its best without ever seeing a rooster tail? Using aluminum 14”x19p prop. I tried a 14.25”x23 stainless and it planed really slow by myself but hauled the mail still no roaster tail 🤷♂️
