I'm not getting full speed when in forward. Does anyone have a parts diagram for the throttle section beside the carb on this motor? Or can anyone tell me how to set the throttle to go faster?

I'm having an issue with my motor. I'm not getting any speed out of my motor and every once and a while the throttle seem to kick in and be up to normal speed and then it kicks out again. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have water getting into the gear case on the lower unit on my motor. I'm going to order the seals for it. Do I have to take the whole lower unit off to fix it or can I just take the lower gear case off and do it from there?

I just realized that I took out the pivot pin in the lower gear case housing instead of the oil drain screw when changing the gear case (lower unit) oil . I was out in the boat today and after I put it back on the trailer i noticed a milky colored substance leaking from the front...

So this is what i've done so far. Took the boat on a trip and when we got back the primer bulb would not get hard. Took apart the motor to get to the carb. Found a small piece of metal in the bowl, float still floated, needle was in the seat. I put it all back together. Took it...
Can't seem to get ignition working... there are too loose wires (red, black) at front of motor not hooked up to anything. Battery is hooked up, not sure about where the wires go on the ignition switch either. Can anyone help? I can e-mail pictures if needed.
