    Lets start over.My problem was this.     I have looked at my pump diaphram and it looks good. Also my float isnt sticking.But mabey my float isnt set right? How to set it? Please help!

    85"merc18xd carb problems?

    I have an 85 18hp merc that i can only keep running if i use the primer bulb.At idle it will run for 5min, then it will need a pump with the bulb.Go's another 5 then needs more fuel.As i increase the throttle the problem doesnt change, but needs to be primed more frequently(every 5 to 10 seconds...
