The charging system is putting out 12.2 volts and will not go any higher when I increase the throttle. I replaced the rectifier. Still the same. Cleaned all connections. I tried to check the AC voltage from the stator while the motor was running, the gauge on the meter would only keep flashing...
Could someone tell me or post a picture of where I have to drill a hole in the water jacket to install a tell tail. I have found all the part numbers I need but I don't know the exact location for where the hole is to be drilled.This is the 115EL77S engine.

I want to replace water pump but can not any bolt that is suppose to hold shift linkage to shift rod. The shift linkage looks like a 2 prong fork with the notched end of the shift rod between the forks, but I see no bolt. Can someone help.

My 1977 115 HP johnson does not have a power tilt & trim. I was looking at the CMC after market model. Can someone tell me if it is a good unit and worth the money. I found an original replacement but I don't trust it due to the age. Any help is appreciated.

I have a 1973 AMF Creatliner with 115 HP Johnson with no power Tilt & Trim. I have found a used unit in good condition. Could someone tell me where I could find the complete wiring diagram from switch to the unit itself. Also does it need a selinoid and relay.
