Thanks everyone for the help! I just got the new fittings today and it fits perfect!! Now to just finish putting all new seals in the gear box and new water pump in and I will be golden.
Thanks. Only reason I got the 3/8 was it was a really good price.....if it worked. Im starting to think this one maybe for a different brand motor and seller just guessed what it fit. The hole in it that snaps over the fuel fitting is also a larger diameter than the one on my motors connector...
Is there a difference in the fittings for 3/8 and 5/16? I know the actual hose is different size.

I have a 1963 Johnson CD-19 5.5hp. I am trying to find a fuel line for it. I picked up one that says it fits Johnson outboards and was a 3/8 inch line, but like my luck goes it does not fit this motor. It has a rectangular end and wont fit the connection on the motor. Do these older motors take...
