    Rich/Lean

    Could someone explain the Rich/Lean concept.<br />I have a 1967 Johnson 6hp. Is it better to run Richer or Leaner? Thanks for any help

    Replacing seals on '67 6hp

    Could someone give me some advise on how to remove the lower unit? I removed the 4 bolts and can only get it to slide down about 1-1/2.<br />Also, should thier be a gasket where the lower unit mates with the upper leg?<br />Thanks for any advise.

    Question about a 73ish Johnson 6hp.

    When in idle pos, no water shoots out the port as it does when in fwd and rev. Is this normal or a problem.<br />Thanks for any input
