The motor will start right up run good for about 15-30 seconds then drop the top cylinder and eventually will stall out.
So far it’s got good compression, cleaned carb, and did a spark test. Any ideas guys?

Ok on the cover it does say EFI. Digital Ignition. When I turn the key the gauges come on but no beep, no fuel pump, and no spark. This is a new to me boat bought on auction that claimed to be running. The engine and Bay Area look to be never touched as it is very clean.
Ok I can try to get engine info for you. Where is that located? Also is the kill switch bypassed by cutting the two wires and leaving them apart or splicing them together? I do not hear any sign of a fuel pump.

I’m in the process of disconnecting everything, cleaning and drying out and I noticed some sand and crud coming out of alternator. Could a faulty alternator cause any of the symptoms listed above? I will disconnect it and get it checked at a local parts store
Yes, I just purchased the smart craft so it was not on the motor when submerged.
Have good spark on all plugs. The thing that stumps me is it ran for a few minutes after I got all the water out.
