    I have a new 115hp mercury 4 stroke. It came with a 4 blade 19 pitch blade. The boat is also a new 1750 fish hawk by crestliner.     4 stroke 115hp mercury not getting full RPM's

    I have a question on my engine. I was told that it should run at 5800 RPM, but can only get about 5400. It is also slow ( I think ) at getting up on plane. I have a 19 pitch 4 blade prop and was also told that I should go to a 17 pitch prop. What do you guys say???? Also, should it be another 4...

    My rear live well makes water

    I have just purchased a new creastliner 1750 fish hawk and a question I have is ....why does my rear live well let water in before I install the recirculator or engauge the fill switch???? And it also does not seem to drain all the way....even out of the water. Weird. Thanks, gary

    3 blade versus 4 blade on 9.9

    I have a 4 stroke 9.9 merc and use it for trolling only. My question is: can I slow down my trolling speed by going with a 4 blade prop???? I don't know the pitch on my 3 blade, but would I be further ahead to swap out pitches on the 3 blade???? I don't have faith in my boats speedometer, but...
