    Again, thanks for the info. I ran a camera up the tube as far as the bottom of the power head and it appears clear. This tube is black plastic. Looks like the power head needs to come off. Thanks

    THANKS, water pump replacement underway but I'm still thinking I need to inspect the water flow from pump to power head, the tube up through the drive shaft housing. Does that require removal of the power head??

When I blow air into telltale I can hear and feel some air flow around the pump discharge tube, but if I plug the pump discharge tube the air still flows??
