    JB you nailed that one! They were grounded out,I took the points out and washed them in Lacquer thinner, put 'em back in, an It started. Now to find the water pump impeller. And the anchor end of the recoil spring broke off, How is that end anchored?

    I have cleaned the points, replaced the spark plugs, and still no spark. Can both coils go bad at the same time, or am I looking in the wrong place? help thank you
