    stalling in reverse

    1978 mark twain 898 (350 now). iam guessing its the lower shift cable. runs good, goes in forward fine. stalls when you go into reverse gear. boat was sitting for a few years. we just dropped a 350 in too replace the old 305. other then what i have allready read about how too...

    heres a issue. is there anyone that can id this block. 3789817 casting number, a862 date code, t0t05d block head stamp number(on the block), 3815822 - gm55 crank. with the numbers should be a sj 327. 62-67. everything is forged. but its not a 4in bore. rings dont fit. its about 3.875...

    alpha gen one hp ratings

    hello. was wondering what they can take hp/tq wise. the boat is a 1978 mark twain 898. the old 305 rusted though so its being replaced with a sj 327 around 300 hp.
