    Water in motor oil

    Well I think I'm screwed. I checked my oil in my omc 120 today and it was milky. Any possibility it is a simple thing? I recently did my impeller in the drive and ran the engine a minute with the water supply line off the exhaust to verify it was pumping water. Not sure if that would matter.

    140 hp outdrive with 120 hp motor

    This is my set up right now on a project boat I got. I haven't been in the water with it yet. The number on the out drive is 980308. Is this not going to work with my motor?

    What do I have OMC 400-800?

    Been doing a lot of research for my 73 omc and I have some questions on terminology. On my out drive it says it's a 140 hp but my motor is a 120 hp.     Outdrive water pump

    1973 omc outdrive needs a new water pump. I read in my Seloc manual and it says to remove the entire outdrive from the intermediate housing. The manual makes it seem like a complicated job. Couldn't I just drop the lower unit to access the pump that way and leave the outdrive attached to the boat?
