    shift linkage

    On an '87 70 hp Johnson can anyone tell me how to disconnect the shift linkage so I can drop the lower unit?? I'm waiting on my manuals to get here in the mail and can't stand sitting around waiting.<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Scott
