    trim/tilt problem

    The rams of my T/T on a 90 horse Johnson (2000) will not support the weight of the engine. They WILL extend (with motor maanually supported) on use of the switch (so the electrical is ok) but as soon as the motor is placed against the rams, they slowly drop.<br /><br />Sounds like a hydraulic...

    trim/tilt problem

    Have a 90 horse two-stroke Johnson, just mounted it to my whaler. Went to check the trim/tilt and got an electrical sound, but no movement of the motor by the two rams. Manually lifted the motor onto support pegs, and tried the trim again. Got the rams to move out, but they will mot sustain...

    1996 merc repiar problem

    I have a 1996 60 horse, 2 stroke mercury -model 10604- serial# og297739. It is knocking and tempo of knock increases with rpm. I have been told that some years of merc were built with "closed seal" making access for repair nearly impossible. Anyone know if this is the case? Any suggestions...
