    Where to get GOOD used parts

    Merc mechanic said I need new stator and two switch boxes (one is bad but he said to replace them in pairs). His total estimate for parts and labor is Approx $900. <br /><br />Does anyone know where I can get good used parts? I know a used part is questionable but I cant fork out $900 right now...

    Trying to use Mercury Parts Express (http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com/PartsExpress/ProductSelection/ServiceParts/sphome.asp?CID=) to order some parts. I enter the 7 digit s/n I see on the id plate located on the motor mount but get a message saying: "Serial number 05674970 was not found...
