i been trying different props on my boat i installed a 17p today the boat hit 4300 rpm and i heard a beep and then the rpm went down and as it hit 4300 again the beep and knocked the rpm back down the boat went 37 mph at 4300 and would not go over that because of the beep looked like a warming...
ok so i have a 05 searay 4.3 mercrusier i am playing with props. i have a 19p on there now i found a 17p to try when i went to put it on and torque it down the prop will not spin. i removed it took it back to the boat place he told me turn the thrust wash the other way i have it the correct way...
I am new to the boating thing just purchased a 05 sea ray 200 sundeck 4.3 mercruiser 220 hp. the first day out just 2 people on boat with full tank of gas i topped out at 32 mph and at 4000 rpm full throttle. had it out yesterday same thing 2 people 1/4 tank of gas hit 38 mph at 4300 rpm. i know...
