    1987 Mercuiser 165 4 cylinder electronic ignition

    Once I install the Pertronix 91146A with the Flame thrower 2 45111 epoxy I then have to splice the red wire from the ignitor into the purple wire at the choke? That is the only thing I need to do wiring wise? anyone help me on this?
