IM working on this boat and its got 2 canister style fuel filters, one at the tank outlet and one after the fuel pump. both are a gf481 style filter. im wondering was this an option or did someone add this? i cant see the reason for trying to suck and push fuel through 2 of these filters and...

why are all the kits including the 2 seals below the pump housing? is this a common issue and required to be replaced when changing the pump out?

steering cable is very stiff and i do not think ill be able to get behind the engine to remove it from the transom. has anyone done this without removing or at least moving the engine? 4.3 V6
good job, i pulled a completely rebuilt engine out of a boat cause i thought it was coming from the balance shaft bearing. its the only thing i hadnt replaced. replaced the bearing and reinstalled engine. noise still there. ended up being a bad spacer under the carb
got it, i pulled the head, both cylinders moving slightly and just kept working it. finally it got looser and looser. i threw the head back on with the old gasket and she fired over.
ill be ordering some parts now that i know she will turn.
