    starter stuck spinning after replaced solenoid

    replaced the solenoid and started cranking several times and about the 5 or so try starter was stuck spinning again? what do you all think?

    solenoid bad? starter...

    turn key to start motor and turns over then quits and the solenoid makes a sound if i keep the key on start...why does the solenoid cause the starter to continuing turning but not engage the fly wheel?

    starter stuck? help!

    went to crank my outboard up and first try didnt get it so turned the key back off and starter stayed stuck spinning. had to disconnect the battery cable. possible short? or ignition switch?
