What type of glue should be used to glue the stainless cup into the water pump housing? Video said refer to manufacturer, my shop manual did not state what type of glue. I have read that Scotch weld 847 is a good choice, are there others?

Replacing my shift cable for the 2nd time in 10 years. I used the red jacketed Teleflex TFX 301947-03 each time I replaced it.
Both times I replaced was due to the cable seizing up.
Is there a better option?

Same thing happened 7 years ago, water started leaking around the shaft and I replaced it with a new one. Can I just buy a rebuild kit and fix the leak?
