Well I fixed the misaligned shifter shafts and all is well there now....but now the motor will not start.<br /><br />Starts and then quits if you shoot some fuel into the carb. Checked the lines and there is fuel up to the carb.<br /><br />Any ideas what to look for for possible fuel...
Took apart my Merc 9.8 outboard for some major overhaul and after reassembly when I shift into reverse, the prop freewheels and neutral it is in gear.<br />I know I screwed up the reassembly of the shifter shafts.<br />Anyone help me with a cure?<br />Thanks for any info!
