have changed impeller ok motor runs well but need help with gears.before assembling bot unit gear shift shaft could be moved both ways but output prop shaft always drove prop in forward dir not wanting to engange n or rev. can you please help solve my problem.Many Thanks in entisipation.u.k...
can you help dating mercury 60 / 6hp s/n 1986591 . beleaved to be about 40 years old, at present trying to replace water pump as have had it running o k apart from this , i am having problem getting the half bevel gear off the top of the gear shaft under the carb , any help much appreciated.
