    what is the compression for 175 Mariner

    Just want to know compression for new and worn conditions and what would be totally useless to give low power.

    Mariner 175 low power

    We have a Mariner 175 on a 6m RIB. The Engine starts good, idles ok, no load revs 6000. When under load can only get 3500 rpm. Recently rebuilt following over heating seize, new pistons and rings, compression 5% to 10% down.
